Class of 1956
Fourth Reunion Cruise Information.
We have had three Class of 1956 reunion cruises and now we have a FOURTH one planned for January 2010! We had a wonderful time in Guatemala this January 2009, but this looks like this may be the best of the cruises so far, so do yourself a favor and come along with us on this one. Here is the information.
Everybody is invited - bring friends, family and anyone else you would like to invite. Anyone having anything to do with Tottenville High School directly or indirectly is also invited. Contact information for this cruise is on the end of this announcement. Please call for further information and/or to book your cabin.
A word to the wise - these cabins go very quickly, so let Mary Ann know as soon as possible so you can be included in this wonderful cruise.
We are all set for the Noordam, January 24, 2010. The Noordam is a much newer ship. It was built in 2006. It is also a little larger, 1918 passengers. Still, it is much smaller than the Explorer of the Seas which we took out of Bayonne.
This is the itinerary:
Sunday January 24, 2010 5 PM Check in at Ft. Lauderdale/Port Everglades. Check in starts at 1 PM
Monday January 25, - 8 AM - Half Moon Cay - Tender required -no air to this port city.
Tuesday January 26 - 12 PM - Grand Turk Islands - leave 6 PM
Wednesday January 27 - Samana - 7 AM - 5 PM - Tender required.
Thursday January 28 - 7 AM - Bonaire -Tender required
Friday January 29 - 7 AM - Curacao
Saturday January 30 - 7 AM - Aruba
Sunday January 31 - 7 AM - At sea
Monday February 1 - At sea
Tuesday February 2 - Return to Ft. Lauderdale
A suite, category SS3, is $2046 + tax which is $2140 per person.
A balcony cabin, category VD, is $1446.00 + taxes which comes to $1540.00 per person.
An obstructed ocean view cabin is $1179.00 + taxes which comes to $1273.00 person.
An inside cabin, category K is $1049.00 + taxes which comes to $1143.00 per person.
The deposit is $300 per person and the final bill is due in November 2010. Insurance will be $96 per person for those under 71 years old at the time they take the insurance. It is $124 for those between 71 and 75. I will see if group insurance will be cheaper but I don't think so since the insurance from HAL is $129 per person.
